Reviews
I liked this place. Didn't leave too much of an impression but it did the job. Their menu I have to say is very extensive and has options for every burger eater. One thing that stood out to me though but also probably apart of how they make profit, is that burgers don't come with fries option first. It comes with roasted potatoes. If you want fries you have to order them separately with additional charge. Interesting right?! Other than that. I fairly enjoyed my food. Service was great! I must say. They're pretty on top of their service every table at a time. They seemed to have a diverse population of diners and that's important for me as well. I was only in town as a part of tour looking for somewhere to eat. This was a one time experience.
If you're looking for the best burger this is the place to go! They have more burgers than I thought was possible. Something for everyone! Great service and relaxed atmosphere.
I visited this restaurant when I went to Port Jefferson. The Buffalo Wings were good and the Bistro Burger was delicious. The burger was well prepared and each topping completed it even more. I enjoyed my burger with the potatoes. I wasn't impressed with the Cajun Fries and it was over seasoned. I enjoyed my drink that I ordered. I had the Irish Lemonade. It was very tasty and I was satisfied with my meal and the drink. The customer service was nice and the waitress was very attentive. The restaurant wasn't crowded and they placed nice music. I would come back if I'm ever in the area.
GBB delivers a higher end casual dining experience. Delicious apps, Great Drinks, and Unique burgers. The portions are decent and the staff are very nice. Last visit, I tried the fried pickles as I thought they'd pair well with my Whistle Pig 10Yr. Definitely worth trying. I also ordered a stuffed blue cheese burger. Although being my favorite kind of burger it was not my favorite GBB burger. That crown goes to the Triple smoked burger. Great range of flavor and something I can always fall back on. As much as I enjoy the food I am not a fan of their prices. When paying $15-17 for a burger (before adding toppings) it should most definitely come with fries. That being said, the food is really good! I think this place is excellent for double dates or a night out with friends. Check it out if you're ever in port. Lured there again yesterday by the aroma of char-broiled burgers. We figured we would try GBB one more time. Surprisingly, it was better than expected. It was a Wednesday afternoon and not a weekend night like before. Service was good--not overly friendly waitress, but burgers came out in reasonable time and quite good, along with the fries we shared. So, overall--a nice meal.
